Who says long division can't be fun? 4th graders spent time today learning the first steps to long division by using division boxes. They were able to look at division as grouping with repeated subtraction and that sometimes you have left overs aka remainder. We also had a little time to play with the manipulatives which was their favorite part.

Forensic scientists in Mrs. Ellefson’s 5th grade CSI class were using chromatography, PH testing, fingerprint and fiber analysis to solve the mystery of Felix Navidad.

State Trooper Godding presented police procedures to Mrs. Ellefson’s 3rd grade CSI class. Students learned about the equipment troopers use with their work. Each student received a plastic badge to wear.

Here are a few snapshots of our students. Mrs. Amundson's students studied the life cycle of the butterfly while Mr. Hill's students enjoyed trying out thermal imaging scopes and some night vision scopes courtesy of the National Guard.

The Henning School has expanded our social/emotional supports for our students. Besides the variety of whole group, small group and individual counseling services provided by Mrs. Damm (School Counselor), we have now partnered with The Village Family Service Center to offer School-Based Mental Health services (via tele-health for now) to our students that qualify. Read the letter that is attached and contact Mrs. Damm with questions or to start the referral process.

Our Preschoolers got in the Homecoming Spirit by dressing up as Superheroes - AKA "Old People" :)

The Henning students are dressed for success tonight. They had to huddle up to develop a game plan to be the “Seventh Player” as they help lift the Hornets to a 1-0 game lead against the Barnesville Trojans.
