You got your back to school paperwork, but now what?!?!
First, fill out all the paperwork that needs to be turned in at or before open house:
- Emergency Form (Families of Pre K-Kindergarten, and new students)
- Transportation Information (Families of Pre K-Kindergarten, and new students)
- Yearly Health Information
- Student Accident Insurance or the Parental Insurance Waiver
- 2022-2023 Application for Educational Benefits
Second, complete the online registration.
1. Go to the Henning School website: www.henning.k12.mn.us
2. Click on JMC in the upper right corner
3. Click on Family
4. Make sure the school year in the dropdown reads 2022-2023
5. Enter Username & Password (don’t know this → contact the district office)
6. Click on Register for School or Register for 2022-2023 on the toolbar
7. Start at the Top of your 2022-2023 Registration Dashboard and Click on Start/Continue the Registration Process (if you are using your phone you may need to rotate your phone or device)
8. Complete/Update Contact Information for each student
9. Complete Emergency Contact Information for each student
10. Complete MN Ancestry Form for each student
11. Next, Click on Digital Equity Questionnaire and complete for each student
12. Next, Click on Sing Forms
13. Click on the form- read the 2022-2023 Henning School Handbook (The handbook includes the Chromebook Checkout Pages 17-18, and Acceptable Use of Technology Policy-AUP- page 33)
14. After reading the document, click on Add Contact Signature / Add Student Signature to Sign - Save (parents/guardian will only need to sign once and it will link to all students Contact Signatures. Each Student will need to sign or have assistance by either parent/guardian)

A Commercial Driver’s License and Bus Driver Endorsement is required.

The Henning School will NOT be hosting an in-person sports meeting prior to fall activities beginning! Again, there will be NO MEETING!!
Fall Sports will start on Monday, August 15, 2022:
🏃♂️🏃♀️Cross Country (7-12) - 1st practice will be on Monday, August 15 starting at 8:00 am in Battle Lake at the track! Bus will leave Henning at 7:15 am!
🏈 Football (9-12) - 1st practice will be on Monday, August 15 starting at 8:00 am in Battle Lake! Bus will leave Henning at 7:15 am!
🏐 Volleyball (9-12) - 1st practice will be on Monday, August 15 starting at 5:30 pm!
🏐 Junior High Volleyball (7-8) - 1st practice will be on Monday, August 22 starting at 5:30 pm!
🏈 Junior High Football (7-8) - Equipment handout will be on Tuesday, August 23 at 6:00 pm.
🏈 Junior High Football (7-8) - 1st practice will be on Wednesday, August 24 at 8:00 am in Battle Lake! Bus will leave Henning at 7:15 am!
Prior to participation in practices all athletes MUST have the following completed:
➖️ MSHSL Physical (they are good for three years)
➖️ MSHSL Eligibility Forms (must be updated every year)
➖️ Pay Activity Fees
You can stop by the District Office Monday-Thursday from 7:00 am - 4:30 pm to get the paperwork and pay for your activity fees.

Students in grades 7-12 participated in Day of Caring. This special day is made possible through the leadership of the Henning National Honor Society. This year students and staff cleaned up sections of highway, the Veterans Park, Festival Grounds, Amundson Park, Inspiration Point, Willow Creek, Our Home Your Home, Luther Island Camp, and the Hollow. Great job NHS students, student body, and staff!
