Henning School District

The Henning School & buses are two hours late today (Wednesday, February 18). School starts at 10:10 - breakfast will not be served.

On Friday, our 4th and 8th graders participated in Part Two of the “Walk in Their Shoes” experience, focusing on empathy, understanding, and inclusion. Through engaging, hands-on simulations, students gained insight into what learning may feel like for individuals with a range of visible and invisible exceptionalities.

Thank you to our presenters and facilitators for creating such a meaningful experience. Activities like these help build awareness, compassion, and respect — reminding us that everyone’s experiences are unique, and everyone belongs!

What a special moment in preschool this week! Freshman Hendrick Witt was the guest reader and did a wonderful job sharing Brown Bear, Brown Bear. His proud smile says it all. 🌟

The kindergarteners had so much fun celebrating the 100th day of school! They even brought their own collections of 100 items to display on their lockers!

Mrs. Froemming’s 8th graders showcased their creativity and hard work by designing and presenting nursery rhymes for the Threes Preschoolers! The project was a wonderful opportunity for students to share their ideas, build confidence, and connect with some of our youngest learners!

National FFA Week is coming up soon! Mark your calendars for February 23rd–27th and celebrate with our fun dress-up days and activities.
