Our 6th graders recently learned how to create clay coil bowls, spending plenty of time making sure each one was sturdy, free of holes, and carefully glazed to be fully functional. To put their craftsmanship to the test, the class held the ultimate trial—a cereal party to see how well their bowls held up in action!

Check out our activities for the week!

Our students have been busy exploring geometry in a hands-on way during STEAM class in the library! (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics)
They started by learning about vertices, edges, and different 2D and 3D shapes. Then came the challenge—building shapes using marshmallows and toothpicks, followed by constructing towers to test which structure could hold the most weight.
The winning tower held 38 pencils and FOUR books! Congratulations to Beckett, Jace, John, Blake, and Osten! https://www.facebook.com/reel/2230382190790972

Mrs. Brunsberg’s Spanish students created beautiful ofrendas in celebration of Día de los Muertos (celebrated November 1 & 2)!
Students had the choice to design their ofrenda in remembrance of someone who has passed, or in honor of someone who is still living.
Great work, everyone!
