The Graduating Class of 2020 will have a graduation ceremony like no other Henning High School graduating class before. The Class of 2020 will have their graduation ceremony in a Drive-in style with a blend of videos and on stage speeches. The ceremony will be held on Sunday, May 24 at 9:15 pm at the Henning fairgrounds. Due to Covid restrictions, each family is allowed only two cars at the event. Students will be recorded receiving their diplomas individually on stage at the school either on Wednesday, May 20 or Thursday, May 21 (a schedule has been shared with each student). Each student is allowed a maximum of seven (7) family members at their individual graduation recording. #Classof2020 #HenningStrong

TONIGHT there will be a parade honoring our senior class. We encourage our community to come out and celebrate the Class of 2020 with cheers of recognition as they travel past your home and/or place of business. The parade will begin around 7:50 p.m. at the school and follow the route provided. We encourage everyone to respect the social distancing rules during this time.

Families please take a minute today to complete the summer food survey. We are trying to evaluate if we have enough families interested to participate. https://forms.gle/1gykuSWUjX9KNGaa9

Henning Public School is considering extending our FREE breakfast and lunch program from Tuesday, May 26th to Wednesday, July 1st. Meals would need to be curbside pick-up 3-days a week at the school.
The state of Minnesota has not come to a final decision about summer recreation programs, the school is not sure if our usual Summer Recreation programs will resume this June, or if those programs will be delayed for a week or more. Regardless of this outcome, we would like to measure the interest in continuing our free breakfast and lunch program to members of the community that are 18 years of age or under.
This summer meal program would begin on Tuesday, May 26th, and go until Wednesday, July 1st. Because meals would no longer be delivered to your home, meals would need to be picked up at the Henning Public School. The pick-up window would be 1 hour in length and would occur on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, except for the first week, where the pick-up days would be Tuesday, May 26th, and Thursday, May 28th.
Please complete the survey questions below so we can better gauge the interests and continue to serve the Henning Public School Community.
