The Henning School will be celebrating World Down Syndrome Day (WDSD) on Monday, March 23rd. We are taking orders for shirts. All orders and payment are due by Thursday, March 5th. Students today in 3rd grade attended Henning Medical School. Students performed surgery on a Storyworks Magazine to locate important text features. They surgically removed items such as the Table of Contents, titles, headings, maps, captions, and many more. Students then needed to explain the purpose of each feature and how they support us in reading nonfiction. (Click the link below to see the pictures)

Angelica's poster won first place locally for the Lion's annual poster contest. On Monday, Angelica was presented with a $75 cash prize by local Lion Tony Suchy for winning 2nd place at the District level Lion's Convention which was held earlier this month. #HornetPride
