Our kindergarten–5th graders enjoyed engaging, hands-on presentations about dinosaurs and engineering. From fossils to design challenges, our students were inspired, curious, and excited to learn!

"Our flapjacks for farmers event was a success! We were excited to have three past members, Wayne Piper, Dave Stueve and Rick Loock bring their old FFA jackets for the jacket contest. A special congratulations to our “Guess the Weight of the Corn” winner Levi Wilkins and our “Guess the Weight of the Soybeans” winner Karen Bolland A HUGE THANK YOU to the Horn and Menze family for all their help with organizing and cooking for the event. Thank you to all who joined us and we look forward to seeing you all again next year!"

EOT 4-H Project Day is coming up on December 13th at New York Mills High School! Enjoy holiday-themed project stations from 9 AM–12 PM, with registration beginning at 8:30 AM. The cost is $10 per youth or $20 per family. A great way to kick off the winter season!

The Henning School and Community Library is excited to share updated hours! The library will now be open Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 3:30–5:30 PM, with extended hours on Wednesdays until 7:00 PM.
In addition, the library will be open every Saturday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM through May, excluding holiday weekends.
Our library is open to everyone, and there is no cost to check out books. We also have computers available for use and offer a warm, welcoming space—whether you want to meet up with friends, relax on your own, or bring your children or grandchildren.

These expanded hours are made possible through funding from West Central Initiative.

Henning Public School will be closed on Thursday and Friday in observance of Thanksgiving. Enjoy the long weekend with family and friends!
The Henning School will be closed today (Wednesday, November 26). All activities are cancelled for today, including the sewing club. Please remember, this is a good old fashioned snow day - there are no eLearning expectations. Enjoy your snow day - get outside a play later.
The Henning School and buses will run two (2) hours late tomorrow, Wednesday, November 26. School will begin at 10:10 AM, and breakfast will not be served.
Fifth grade would like to remind everyone ice is never 100% safe! Check out their informative posters or head over to the MN DNR website for some ice safety tips and information. Stay safe!
