Fifth graders are putting their detective skills to the test as they dive into forensic science to solve the CSI mystery in Room 115A! Students are examining evidence and applying both inductive and deductive reasoning to crack the case.
Their investigations include chromatography, fingerprint analysis, DNA comparisons, pH testing, fiber analysis, and powder testing. The unit will wrap up with an exciting culminating experience—a tour of the CSI lab in Ottertail for the entire fifth grade!
