Our 5th graders recently read The Invisible Boy by Trudy Ludwig—a touching story about kindness and inclusion. The book highlights how small acts of caring can help new friends feel welcome, like a boy from Korea who eats bulgogi with chopsticks at lunch.
To bring the story to life, Mrs. Ellefson visited the class to demonstrate how to make bulgogi, use chopsticks, and share some fascinating insights into Korean culture. What an awesome way to connect reading with real-world learning!
