6th Grade Itasca Trip

The sixth-graders took an educational journey to Itasca State Park, the source of the Mississippi River. This trip allowed the students to explore the region's rich history and the early cultures that thrived there. They also discovered the diverse species of pine trees that inhabit the area. The insights gained during this visit will enhance their Minnesota Book slideshow assignment, covering essential topics such as the Mississippi River, Minnesota's state symbols, and the history of early civilizations.
