science camp

This week was a fun and engaging learning experience for our students in Science Camp.

This week students had the opportunity to learn about the weather, wind, aviation, animals, and bugs. Students had the opportunity to take a trip to the Wadena airport where they meet with a local pilot, toured an airplane and the hanger.  The science camp also traveled to Blacks Grove and Sunnybrook park.

Next week Science Camp will be from Monday, June 26- Thursday June 29 from 8:00 am – 1:00 pm. Some of the topics that will be covered next week are: bottle rockets, plant day, and animal day.

It’s not too late to join, so get your kids (going into grades 3th – 6th) signed up for up for a hands on learning experience with science teacher Mr. Damm.

If you have questions or would like to sign your child up contact the Henning School.
