Elementary Art
K-5 Elementary art students have art once a week for half of the school year. They learn about the elements and principles of design and explore the use of as many different kinds of media as possible. They learn about different artists and many art processes and techniques.
Welcome to the Henning Art Department page! I am excited for the 2022-2023 school year! I teach K-12 Art and enjoy the variety of working with all grade levels and with many different kinds of art media. I am also the yearbook adviser and the 9th grade class adviser.
This is my 26th year of teaching and my 9th year in Henning. I grew up in Fergus Falls and graduated from FFHS. I earned my BA in Art Education from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN. I live in Fergus Falls with my husband and 3 boys. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy supporting my boys in their sports and activities. I also enjoy photography and can often be seen with my camera around my neck.
